Canadian Tire Unveils New & Improved Web Site
After a lot of work behind the scenes, Canadian Tire has re-launched its Web site. It’s a clean looking site featuring a lot of white (very Web 2.0-ish) and red. Unlike the previous iteration, the site is a snap to navigate and offers an easy way for consumers to find and, potentially, buy products. It helps that Canadian Tire is offering free delivery on orders over $49. At the very least, the new and improved site is an excellent tool for consumers to determine whether Canadian Tire has want they want. The big challenge will be convincing people to order online rather than driving to a store - most of which tend to be about a 15-minute drive from their homes. By creating a user-friendly site, Canadian Tire may be able to become much more of an e-commerce operation. Frankly, this is something the Canadian online market desperately needs to support growth. Hopefully, Canadian Tire’s efforts will encourage other retails to become more aggressive as well.

hello to whom this may concern:
my name is jason and i purchase alot of things from your store. i am wrighting to you to ask you why you guys would sell the motorized scooter, made by Rebel motor sports. it is the stand up one. where the city would people be able to ride it? 33cc gasoline red one. i bought one and got nothing but hasseled by the police. if we as city people can’t ride it in the city then maybe we should not sell them to us people that don’t know any better. it causes us grief. by the way this product ain’t even worth the money it is on sale for now. as $179.99 plus tax. i paid 350. 00 with tax and it caused me more problems then i, as a customer can or desirve.
these type of things need to be looked at before ever being sold in any canadian tire store.
this issue i would like to have a responce back so i am sure that your understanding what i am saying.
thank you. bye..

On July 27-07 I took my 1999 Sable in to Sherwood Park, AB, Canadian Tire for an oil change as advertised for $19.99. I asked to also have the tire pressure checked, which I thought would be complimentary. When I got my bill I was charged for a 20 point check which I didn’t want, and was not told about before work was done. The tire pressure check ended up as a very expensive $18.95, over and above the cost of the tire change.
Could you please reply.

I took my car to Canadiantire Lloydminster for an oil change and they forgot to add the oil! I noticed the oil light was on when I started the car, the two “mechanics” were trying to find out why the light was on when the engine seized! my lawyer will have to iron this one out.
