Domainer.com Raises $1.9M
Domainer.com has raised $2-million of private equity from a group of investors that includes an unidentified Toronto-based venture capital firm - don’t you just love mysteries.
“Domain names are the real estate of the Internet but until now, Domainers seeking to develop their Internet properties had very limited options,” said Domainer.com chair Jason Chapnik. “Our proprietary software platform has been designed to allow us to easily develop, configure, and manage the content of a portfolio of websites. We incorporate relevant content from third parties and from our own proprietary content network, thereby turning our clients’ domain names into destinations and brand building opportunities.”
Toronto-based Domainer.com also added two new board members: Glenn Graff, executive vice-president with Kaboose Inc., and Allen DeBevoise.
