Feelish Bullish?

by Mark Evans on July 27th, 2006

Tired of relying on the Wall St. Journal, Financial Post, BusinessWeek, analysts or brokers for investment advice? FeelingBullish.com believes the real secret to getting the scoop on the next hot stocks is the "wisdom of crowds". The site provides tools for investors to shares their opinions/views on a particular stock - be it a buy, hold or sell. Depending on your stock-picking ability, your "reputation" can rise or fall - kind like your eBay rating. There are also message boards similar to many other investment sites. FeelingBullish’s success will, in many ways, depend on how many users it can attract. The more people offering their opinions, the more useful and information the site will become and, in theory, the more likely good investments ideas will emerge. Overall, FeelingBullish is an interesting idea but it’s playing in a market with plenty of competition already. For it to succeed, the company’s needs to differentiate itself from all the other investment sites out there. That will be a big challenge.

I checked out the site. It is pretty cool. I am thinking of the different applications that this site could be used for, and if they ever got any kind of traffic, it would be incredibly useful.
