Open Cities 2007 in Toronto
Looking to talk about the Web and collaborate on the “urban landscape”? Well, look no further than Open Cities Toronto 2007, which is happening June 23/24. The event is being billed as:
What happens when people working on open source, public space, open content, mash up art, and open business work together? How do we make Toronto a magnet for people playing with the open meme?
The event kicks off with an unconference to talk about Open Cities at the Centre for Social Innovation. Then, there’s a BBQ at Fort York, followed by a “open street” celebration on June 24 at funky Kensington Market, which will will closed to cars. For more details, check out the Open Cities Web site.
