Toluu cranks up the speed and let’s you check if that feed is fresh

by Tris Hussey on June 11th, 2008

I got word from Caleb last night that toluu was getting a wee update today.  Yeah you could say that–Toluu Blog » Blog Archive » New feed page views: Popular and Subscribers—now not only does it run faster (I could tell the moment he turned it on, that’s how much it improved), but you can check out how many people subscribe to a feed, when the last item was published, and see what the popular posttoluus are.

Sarah Perez, among others, has a great review of the updates, so I’m going to look at how I use toluu, and how I don’t.

First off, whenever I add a feed I do it through toluu.  Why?  Because I see toluu as one of those “you get back what you give in” kinds of services.  If you want to find good feeds you have to add good feeds.

Next is skimming, and granted I don’t do this all the time, what people have added.  Not contacts as much as the feeds.  Have I seen that one before, would it interest me.  I am an RSS junkie after all.

Next question is…what’s next for toluu.  Lot’s of data.  Lots of content.  Lots of info on what feeds are popular.
