Toronto Transit Camp

If you’re not into watching the Super Bowl on Feb. 4, another option is Toronto Transit Camp ‘07, which is billed as a gathering “designers, transit geeks, bloggers, visual artists, tech geeks and cultural creators passionate about transit in Toronto and the TTC”. The un-conference is happening from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Gladstone Hotel at 1214 Queen St. W. You can registerer here.

    Mark, it’s true you’ll miss the pre-game but the REAL game (and more importantly, the commercials) is at 6:30, so no problem for football fans.

    More importantly, I know a LOT of fans will be really disappointed if we don’t have at least one meshie in attendance! I know you’re intrigued…and I think you’ll be amazed at what’s coming.

    I’d love to attend given I’m into bogging and urban planning but I’m up north this weekend. If we get back early enough, I’ll try to catch some of the afternoon action.
