What’s Inside the iPhone?

If you’re at all curious about what’s actually inside the iPhone, Ottawa-based Semiconductor Insights purchased one and took it apart. You can see the YouTube video here. Warning: It’s a pretty geeky video so be prepared.

In terms of Canadian content in the iPhone, a surprising supplier is Magna International, one of the world’s biggest auto parts makers. Magan’s Optera Inc. division provided a chemical used with the iPhone’s touch-screen.
